Dam busters lost and found

Post by JohnClimber »

Hi All,

Did anyone see my Montane jacket which I think I've left on the back of one of the chairs in Llanbrynmair?
If so please can you hand it over to Stuart and Dee?
It's a bit smelly from a few nights sleeping in it and far too many dog walks between wash's bit it's one of my favourites.

Cheers all

John, I've got your jacket and I'll post it back tomorrow.

Reg, Dee's going to go back down and have a look for it.

Left a blue Decathlon waterproof jacket at the HQ - think I may have put it on my bike outside.

Not doing well for losing stuff this weekend !

If anyone finds it, please let me know and I'll forward funds for it's repatriation.

This is actually a good idea for an offshoot thread, ie. 'What have you ever lost post a Bearbones event'. I reckon the reason we lose things is that 'one' is so shattered post ride, 'one' forgets to pack it away correctly.

Anyway I won't make said thread, as I wouldn't want to clutter the airways. But aftwr the BB200 ride I came home and am sure I had my rear Bontrager £50* light. But thwn after checking my gear in the days to come I'd obviously misplaced it and then months later it still wasn't showing up.

Ended up buying another and was content in the fact that it was 200km of punishment that lost it and not me... In other news... Sorry for your loss Reg and anyone else...

Erm, again, just thinking out loud: you sure the wind didn't blow it away

*obviously its not called the £50 light and obviously I never did pay up the said £50(ish) for it...

Aww thanks Stu/Dee, hope not special trip, if so thanks vm. If lost, at least I won't have to continue putting up with that hateful charger cover flap thing.

Thanks Stuart, please can you post me out another cap as well with it and let me know how much the postage and cap is that I should donate to the BB Tower fund?

There are caps? For heads or stems? Are they available for those of us who *cough* sadly *cough* missed out on the winter event?
