After reading the reviews (Dave's just added to em) I decided to just get some reusable zipties instead. Ithink they are about 25cm and I just carry 3 of em. If the needs arises (last used when popping into Morrisons on the outskirts (Meltham) of Huddersfield. Used 3 and attached to some metal fencing and worked well enough (I rushed the shopping)

Aye I've zip tied the bike to a fence rail or lamp post whilst going into a shop before. Its enough to stop someone running away with your bike and they are fiddly enough to make a fast theft tricky.

The combi-lock version is better for a fiver more - mine has been my cafe / shop lock for over a year now. Betterer again would be an Ottolock Hexband but they’re quite a bit pricier
