dried milk - 15g / 50 kcal

I whizz it all in a blender (breaks up the oats and makes them quicker to rehydrate). Then stick it in a ziplock/P&S bag, then just add hot water as required and squeeze it round for a while, stick the whole bag in a cosy until ready.
When you say that you you whizz it all, does that include the fruit...? Would like to try having a hot breakfast on my next bivvy, so was just wondering about what to have.

Yeah. I use dried fruits; sultanas, raisins, dates etc. It all goes in the blender together. I guess you could put the fruit in after whizzing if you were using fresh fruit.

I don't particularly like porridge, much prefer overnight oats, but will give it a go in the name of warming up. 👍
