Does this bike / frame exist
Ti preferred (or nice lightweight Steel)
Sliding / Adjustable Dropouts
67 ish HA
Longish TT (460 ish on a Large)
100mm to 120mm Fork travel allowing suspension or rigid
31.6 seat tube with stealth routing
Genuinely fit a 29x2.6 in it with mud clearance.
Bikes that are close but miss at least one of the requirements, Broken road, nordest britango and sardinha, stanton sherpa, chameleon, travers, cotic, lynskey, etc
Any others?

Re: Does this bike / frame exist
I've been on a very similar search, with not quite as an exacting requirement list.
I'm going for the Broken road. It ticks most of the boxes for me.
Another bike that you might want to consider is the Velohold Iron. https://www.veloheld.de/bikesnframes/ad ... oheld-iron available as a frameset or full bike.

Be interested to hear back on the Broken Road, I'll take a look a the link too ta.
Re: Does this bike / frame exist
The broken road can be customised if you ask, might be able to get what you want...?
Re: Does this bike / frame exist
I would be most tempted by getting a Swarf from Adrian up here in the tweed valley. Brilliant bikes, lightweight for steel and can have the geometry customised. Adrian is very knowledgeable and can advise on what you are wanting to achieve.
I have demoed his full sus and it was vaguely exciting!

Hi, Yeah swarf is on the list. I briefly communicated with Adrian last year but I had a broken frame and needed something new quickly.
Re: Does this bike / frame exist
There's a lot of custom sonders popping up on their instagram recently that look lovely.

Newer Ti Fargo’s will take 29x3.0
If you are going through hell, keep going.

Ah, Salsa. I should add to my list. Not a drop bar bike and for Ti... a proper warranty.
Pretty fussy

Re: Does this bike / frame exist
Why doesnt the Broken Road fit that criteria?
Re: Does this bike / frame exist
They ship them with 100mm REBA 650b plus which has an A-C of 490 - 500 sagged I guess. I run mine with a 110mm Fox 34 which has an A-C of 525/500 unsagged/sagged. Rides great. Takes 2.6 on an i30 rim as well. Drop @richpips a PM if any questions.
Re: Does this bike / frame exist
Thats good to know it takes a 29x2.6

Ti Timberjack from Salsa if you don't need/want the drops on a Fargo.
Re: Does this bike / frame exist
I have a Broken Road albeit with carbon forks and 650b plus wheelset with 2.8 tyres and the clearance is big , when you get to that sticky mud it will fill any gap anyway.
I also have a custom build steel hardtail by my friend Chris Yeomans of Smithyframeworks he will make you anything you want.

What's the worst than can happen?
Re: Does this bike / frame exist
imo a good length to design to for a 100mm fork -the Ramin was also anyway- it won't rule out a 120mm if the STA and BB drop range is steeper + lower to start with (as most newer geometries are)designed at a fork length of 470 which seemed a bit short to me.
29" Reba? RS 29er forks and B+ are the same, a 100mm Reba is 506mm A-C, so ride height / active sag ~35mm less = ~470mm. Bingo. ( have the SRAM tech site on the bookmarks list)100mm REBA 650b plus which has an A-C of 490 - 500 sagged I guess.
