PSA Apidura free repairs & repair guide

Post by redefined_cycles »

Not sure if its strong enough as PSA but...

1. Learnt today from my roadie riding parnter that Apidura have a promotion on across Europe. Certain weeks you just drop your ripped or holed Apidura gear into selected stores (looks like Shona/Rich have Keep Pedalling as one of the stores) and Apidura will refreshen yer gear for ya. Info and locations is here https://www.apidura.com/journal/free-in ... in-europe/

2. Dave posted a link a few months previously (or was it last year) of an vaguely exciting bikepacking comprehensive repair guide (repair yerself... repair yer bike.. do other clver things with a piece of shoestring [probably]). Anyway that said article/booklet was only ever an online thing so not sure how the authors expected users to use whilst out in the field. Assuming off course one has time on his/her hands to browse such a fine specimen when all other avenues are exhausted.

Anyway, I took the liberty of screenshotting the booklet and making a gallery folder then coverting to pdf. It's uploaded backwards and some of the pages were too long so had to be dissected. But... here it I think ishttps://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn%3Aaaid%3Ascds%3AUS%3A52f57545-c3f6-4ca4-9ca2-710d11b45745

Actually... let me try linking it again (courtesy of my mate Zubair as I'm obviously hopeless at comps stuff). Needs to be read front to back :-bd and hopefully Dave (Barter) will be proud/impressed/mildly happy...

I would have gone for slightly less grumpy

Mine shows no signs of wear I will lead you to decide if that is due to their excellent workmanship or my infrequent riding [bit of both but must have seen 150 days use by now]
