More stolen bikes
Woke up this morning to find garage door bent back and my longitude and the boys orbea gone . Just a quick ask if anyone sees a 2017 longitude with Jones bars and a hope rear wheel with a blue hub and a orbea mx black with orange decals for sale give us a shout, could have caught the little poor show but when the dog was going wild I just went down and gave a tickle to calm him down instead of looking for what upset him, anyhow still got my cdf and ordered the lad a new bike while I wait for the insurance to pull their fingers out
Cheers
Cheers

Re: More stolen bikes
Sorry to hear that. Not to pile it on BUT beware them coming back, either for what they left behind or for the replacements.

Re: More stolen bikes
Already expect them to come back, but all that's In hand, I'm more p1ssed off with myself as our staffie never barks through the night and I didn't bother checking what had upset him
Not much chance of the law catching them mart as I totally understand its low priority, no one was hurt so it's bottom of the list, wonder if they'll take the same view if I find them and their parents, as we used to say in Ireland there's always a bog hole that needs filling(no bogs round here but there's the quicksand over the chase)

unlucky stu, hope you get sorted out insurance wise,
it's not that I can and others can't, it's that I will and others won't.

Mmm.. bad luck Stu m8 . Although I was thinking earlier, if they come back it's not the Staffie they should be worrying about .

I’ve got a good one as well, includes a full transit van and subsequent large and expensive rounds of drinksBearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 7:52 pm B'stards.

Re: More stolen bikes
If you have the serial numbers - Stick them on the Immobilise website.
You may be surprised by how far away decent bikes end up and quite a few get recovered but never traced back to owner as they aren't registered.
Depending on your property make up, those Ring doorbell jobs are quite effective. My daughter has them front and back and got an alert then watched a burglar trying to get in the house last week - Fortunately for the burglar, he ran off before her boyfriend got out back.

Re: More stolen bikes
I can imagine it goes much the same way it will go if I find them, don't expect to get the bikes back but you never know, any how on better news the boy has got a new cube coming which I'll borrow for the winter event as not sure what suits my needs best as there's not really any "gnarrrr" any more in my rides but I do like the look of those new stoogesBearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 7:52 pm B'stards.
