Top tip for mechanical disk users

Apologies if I was the last person to realise this top tip.
The actuator arm on one of my TRP Spyre callipers hasn’t been snapping back so well recently so there was a little slack left in the cable and at the lever.
I saw some discussion of this elsewhere and got the idea to add a compression spring on the exposed cable between the clamp and the cable stop.
The results are excellent. The brake snaps back feels like new and adjustment is easier.

Any idea of the cause (e.g. dirty cable, dirty actuator arm pivot, worn return spring)?

Everything is fine. Cable runs free. Calliper moves well and is clean. Must be the return spring is old and tired.
Disassembly looks hard to achieve from what I’ve seen online. This is a simple neat solution.
