Road cyclists

Post by In Reverse »

Driving home last night and some clown on a push bike who clearly couldn't ride the thing or wasn't looking where he was going went straight over the bars then just laid there on the floor. I had to swerve to get round his bike which was lying in the road.

It's high time cyclists got insurance and registration plates imho.

Sounds like some kind of voodoo involved there. Still, if they weren't wearing hi-viz it would have been their own fault if you'd hit them as you drove past whilst taking photos on your mobile
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

On the other side of the coin I was dazzled off the road the other day by some motorist in a vile onesie.

If they were using those weird butterfly bars they need to count themselves lucky they didn't get run over

I'm not quite sure about the intent of this thread...
Did that really happen?
Is it just a dig at an alternative sub-group of cyclists?
Was he just left lying there, immobile?
