I really don't see any issue with this. I mean they are riding their bikes, carrying kit, enjoying the outdoors, which in my mind is bikepacking.
Just because some people do it a little different to others doesn't warrant a negative approach. Surely it's a good thing another film is made to try and get people out there.

Peter, my comment about the mug in my original post was deliberately sardonic and leading, hence the bait line for Stu which he neatly avoided

Personally I don't think it's a bad video, at least it's not one of those "we had to become lost to find ourselves" navel gazing videos. I can't remember if I've seen any of her videos before, maybe a bit OTT for me if she was like that all the time, no light and shade if you see what I mean. I'll make no comment about their ability to find Claerddu bothy since I managed to ride past it in the dark as I didn't know just how far off the track it was.

I've just read all the posts again and to be perfectly honest, I don't think the overall response is actually negative. The style might not be to everyones liking and there might be the odd tongue in cheek comment but that's mainly in response to the 'mug comment' which was likely also tongue in cheek and done with a wry smile.

I liked the video, made me want to get on my bike and get out thereI

My trips are mini holidays, being positive and enjoying them is a mindset. Shame about the man wearing sandals but you can't have everything
