"Hot drinks will be served from 7.00am at the event start - Ysgol Llanbrynmair and Community Centre, SY19 7DH. There's no grand depart or set start time, BB200 riders are free to get underway anytime between 7.00am and 10.00am. Whether you complete the route or not, you will still be welcomed back to hot food and more tea than is strictly good for you, served from 8.00am - 8.00pm on Sunday."

For the last six years the start has been the community centre at Llanbrynmair as it is this year too. If you're looking for a campsite, the nearest is Dolgadfan which is about 2.5 miles from the start.

Hafren Forest bunkhouse may be another option. 5 miles from the start.

Shaf - one option I've used prior to the BB200 and also the Winter Event is the Travelodge at Oswestry. It's just over an hour from Llanbrynmair. If the weather's poo then you aren't spending a night out prior to the event itself. Obviously not as cheap as camping

Mike... Been there n regularly do that as I actually bought the car with that as a sole purpose for post work night shifts when I can't stay awake for the commute back... Its a Subaru Legacy Estate and have managed to squeeze a sleep in with the road bile easily enough. However (I think) on the odd occasion I did attempt a little sleep with Stan (the Sonder) it was a little too tight. However that would have been in its built form and might try with the wheels out (and compulsory hydraulic calipers immobilised)...

In fact thats what I think I shall fall back on with what Bob mentioned as the PlanB (didn't realise a travellodge could be had for less than 36£ )

How many boners can we get in one travel lodge room?
One way of reducing the cost of the room

Couple of mates stayed in a Travelodge once, and I was travelling with them. I hate paying somebody for allowing me to simply be asleep so avoid hotels etc. Had my tent at the time. For some inexplicable reason that time though (heavy rain?) I decided to join them. My non-paying ethic forbade me from using the door so I nipped round the back and luckily their window was open. Lobbed me gear into it, shortly followed by my body. Closed the window, and followed my pals out the door to the pub. As we left reception a police car screams to a stop and tells the recep they're looking for a suspicious character!! "Not seen anything mate" and off to the pub.

So, feel free to try the same experiment with boners  .
