Has anyone tried the podsacs anything cages from on-one/planet X?

I've tried the bags and they were good (tested by filling oje to the top with water and leaving it for a while wrapped from top... no leakages (missus would have been annoyed).. but due to the weight I moved em on (around 700g per bag or am pretty sure even more)...

Personally I'd not trust PX cages for such an important bit of kit but maybe I'm (trying to be) a bit posh

The website says 140g per bag so if that's right its not much.

I use a couple of the dry bags off them ,very tarpaulin like and tough which is what I want in fork bags ,sorry shaf there's no way that they weigh nearly 3/4 of a kilo

Maybe 700g for the whole setup?

Well I got some of the podpads cages.
First impressions are good. Seem super sturdy and strong plastic. Comes with fittings for multiple types of fork.

Sadly the dry bag is just a tiny bit narrow for my stove/pots so may change them.

Hopefully they last after a good use. I see no reason they won't.

I got a set last week too - did 280km with them this weekend on gravel tracks, roads and about 30km of single track & bridleway. They seem fine although I guess that is not too much of a test. Dry bags are very robust but are quite small - not sure if I can get my Alpkit mug in, I'll check!

I would be interested in the internal diameter of the Podsac if you get a chance to measure it.
Might be perfect for my cook kit.

An older 700ml alpkit ti mug fits in fine, I tried it earlier - will measure tomorrow...

RE TLS it depends on what i am doing
Sometimes I want to ride long and fast [ for me so i TLS - its survival mode basically]
Sometimes I want to ride at a leisurely place and then wild camp early and practice "bushcraft" so need more stuff

Sometimes I am carryING for me and two kids so I need all the space I have

i take whatever i need for the type of trip i am doing

£25 each side, yes - still works out a lot cheaper than other options that I could find. The cages look very similar to the Topeak ones.

The diameter of the dry bags is about 12cm. My mug is 10.5 cm diameter and fits very easily, with room to slide some extra stuff down the sides.
