Pay Pal

It seems that I have a P pal account that I used once 15 years ago. I typed in my old email and the account came up with all my old and present addresses listed and my latest bank card number.

A bit creepy and a bit too easy to access and start using. I'm a bit worried about the security with this.

Anyway, I need to test it out to see how easy it is to use. So I was wondering if any of you could send some money to test it out?

Cheers.

Is it really as simple as just giving a buyer my email address and that is it?

Something about 'friends n family' means no charges?

Thats right Rasta. But when buying things its always best to pay as 'for purchases/items' in which way the buyer gets extra peace of mind/protection that if the item doesnt arrive and the seller becomes 'unavailable'or unwilling to refund. Then the buyer can get a reversal done via paypal direcrly and get their money back...

Some on here just pay as 'to friends/family' as it saves chsrges/fees at the sellers end. In return generally the seller will send via a method that, should the item get lost, seller just refunds the money and opens a claim with Royal Mail as it was sent via an appropriate delivery method...

Hope that makes sense :-bd

One thing to be aware of is a message by Dee/The Boss in classifieds that buyers should pay via 'for goods/services' so they dont have to cry later...

Thanks for that.

So pay the fees and get protection.

I'll update my 'for sale' items to 'PayPal' accepted.

Cheers.
