Where’s your waterproof when it’s not raining?
I have a slightly bulky Outdry jacket that definitely won’t fit in a jersey pocket. If it looks like rain I tend to strap it on top of my bar bag either in a separate dry bag or not (depending on the colour of my aura).
It’s quickly to hand and works for me but I know strapping stuff to other stuff is tantamount to mug dangling in the eyes of some. So what do you do?

If it looks like no rain then it usually lives in my saddlebag but the last thing in. If it's a bit on / off then I too generally strap it somewhere*.
*NOTE - doing this is not akin to packing like a jumble sale and certainly f*ck all like mug dangling

Tend to strap them to the bars ,after a couple of days I'm afraid my bike does tend to look like a jumble sale

In summer I'll usually have a lightweight waterproof top, if I'm not wearing it it's either in a jersey pocket or tucked under an elastic strap on the outer of one of my bags.
In winter I'll have a heavier jacket and it will be strapped into the bar harness along with whatever dry bag is in there.

If packing my rab wind top (showerproof) lives in my alpkit XL stemcell on top of the cook kit, if packing the proper water proof, like stu last in the seat pack.

Re: Where’s your waterproof when it’s not raining?
I usually plop mine into my frame bag as a space filling exercise.
I do that so that it's out of the way but quickly accessible.....
.....AND.....
.....it allows me to conserve storage potential in case I need additional food/water/something space at some point and I'll then move the waterproof to the seat pack where it arguably belongs.
If I put it in the saddle bag to begin with then I'll weirdly fill the frame bag with crap anyway and so have no spare space and carry more weight for no good reason.

Ditto to FLV, mine's been in the kit cupboard since I returned from the C2C trip in May where it was only needed on the last day in the Basque country. Tbh we need some rain as the olive trees are suffering, the almonds can put up with dry conditions. We occasionally hear a bit of thunder in the mountains but it doesn't amount to anything.

In a bag that does not include my sleep kit, so depending on the trip its bar harness bag, bumbag or rucksack
Have yet to try it in a super 8

Outdry to hand if it's wet, if it's dry or with a chance of showers it stays at home and my tennis ball sized Berghaus smock comes out to play.

My mini Berghouse jacket is strapped to the back of my waistpack or backpack.

Usually in the gap of my loop bars, held by a couple of Voile/Fixplus straps. Or on the top of my Terrapin saddle bag - held on by those straps. I reckon it's best to stow it somewhere it doesn't subsequently affect dry kit.

Keep mine in the stem cell or sometimes embrace my inner roadie and put it in my rear pocket.

In a light/thin drybag, in the seatpack. If the weather's mixed for the day probably in the bar roll or bar bag. ie, aim to keep it away from gritty spray and road grime or away from sleeping gear if it's wet.

Usually between my lioness and the dry bag in my lion
Re: Where’s your waterproof when it’s not raining?
If i’m carrying a full waterproof it normally goes in the webbing on the bar bag or strapped to the top of my seat pack. If i’m just carrying something for showers it goes in a jersey pocket or a rucksack

Invariably on my body. Even indoors. I do that purely so that Mrs Perrin can criticise me for looking ridiculous in company ('do take your coat off dear') or allow her to deliver some sort of lecture such as 'don't wear your coat indoors or you won't feel the benefit'. Occasionally this happens at the same time as her quickly wiping my cheek with the corner of a licked handkerchief.

Re: Where’s your waterproof when it’s not raining?
Rolled up in my back pocket. Zip carefully adjusted to just fit over my head , following a near hypothermia incident where I'd left the zip up and stuffed the jacket into my fell running bumbag. When the sleet started, my hands were too cold to undo the zip and it was a bit marginal until I manage with my teeth and knees..

What is this "not raining" of which you speak?
Re: Where’s your waterproof when it’s not raining?
I think it's also called drizzle.

Re: Where’s your waterproof when it’s not raining?
I went for the "trail running" lighter weight Outdry jacket during the Great Outdry Rush and it rolls up small enough to fit in a jersey pocket. Failing that it'll be strapped on top of my bar bag until I need it.
