Gosh... since I started biking as a young teenager I've been definately spending more time pushing and carrying the bike rather than riding it.

For me, to classify a 'ride' as a mtb trip, one must have carried and pushed the bike.

Hard to choose. But I've always liked this one.

Trying to demoralise Karl. Guess what. It didn't work.

Obviously not in the running for a prize but thought I'd join in anyway.

Ignore this. Sorry. The post it referred to has disappeared but would have probably been in with a good chance of making the finalists (IMO)... :-bd whoever the pic was taken by and the stars of the show (the 2 riders walking up a steep rocky incline with amazing scenery behind em)

Sorry but just deleted your last post as it contained a duplicate picture. Trying to get folk to understand the voting procedure will be difficult enough without adding additional complication.

Is that me behind you still riding ? at least all the others had the good grace to pick ascents and not descents

To be fair you could see nothing- not the path or the ground] and i did crash many many times - the plus side was the bracken was incredibly soft

Loads of cycling pics of me wth puffed out cheeks - ever relapsed i did it till i saw the evidence

Not sure which picture I will enter yet but this thread did inspire to make a quick gallery of the hike-a-bike pictures I have on my blog.

https://www.composite-projects.co.uk/20 ... or-a-walk/

Seemed to be mostly of johnnystorm, mountainbaker and Chicken Legs.

I couldn't make my mind up for a while which picture to go for but I decided to go with the aesthetic one rather than the worst looking bit of hike-a-bike one.
