Badger Divide

Post by AndyTheBikeGuy »

I'd like to ride the badger divide at the end of summer and I just want a bit of advice on bike choice? I've seen Richpips's post where they did it on Frontiers with/without a suss fork so I think I'd take my Pinnacle Ramin but with 2.25s on, does that sound reasonable?

A mate who I'm convincing to come only has a Arkose at the moment, is it reasonable for him to get by on it on 45x700c Riddlers or will his fillings fall from his teeth?

Cheers,

Andy

I rode it on 42c Resolutes, my mate on 40c Nanos.

I think I did it on a 40c rear and 47c front. What I could fit. Would be fine with 40c and 40c - aside from the descent with huge water bars on GWR, which required mincing down

Sounds like he'll be fine.

We'll be prepared for mincing...

Cheers!
