the hiding-from-WRT-we*r-speculation thread

Post by RIP »

I just caught myself trying to check the wea.... erm, 'meteorological conditions'... for the WRT weekend. Stopped just in time, or obsession and endlessly futile and pointless speculation will set in and that will be that. It'll be what it'll be.

If I can feel it happening again I'm going to quickly switch to this thread which will hopefully have nothing to do with it.

I'll talk about something else. Erm... er.... so..... the... erm.... Nope, nothing's there so instead I'm going to watch this soothing little film of a cute deer (he seems to have shrunk in the rai... damn!) near a stream (probably on the WRT route) to take my mind off the we.. whoops, this isn't easy for a w*r-fixated Englishman.

The fact that the DD600 was hot and sunny means that WRT weekend must be wet/cold/windy. That's a scientific fact that is

A modification to the route to the nearest pub, after all WRT is a social event.

No need to be miserable; save that for BB200, though can the weather be any worse than 2018??

Meh, it definitely can't be worse than the first day of the BB300... so I'm fine with that.

Long range forecast at the moment is for a sunny weekend. The jet stream forecast shows warm air moving in from the west for that weekend with what looks like a high pressure system to the south and low pressure over Iceland and Scandinavia, so sunny but possibly breezy.
