Ooer. Did he get signed back in Dee? Maybe there's a skeleton bikepacker out there with a skeleton bike. Think it's fair to say that our various bits of info re the area/"facilities" couldn't have been much clearer...

I reckon he's on a super extended jaunt and any minute now will be messaging saying he's just finished an 800 mile loop fully off road... :-bd

Haha, this is funny! Only just seen the comments.

So the ride went well, got back to BB camp in time for cake on Sunday, which was amazing i must add!

For anyone interested the route i did was logged on Strava along with lots of lovely photos!

No major issues getting food and water, just had to plan refuel stop well in advance, even managed some nice pub stops along the way with possible one to many beers!

Brilliant weekend, and great weather!

Phew. Can stop the cortege organisation now then. Had managed, with some difficulty, to arrange the black mountain bikes with black plumes, but AK weren't sure they could manufacture a body-sized seatpack in time. Glad you're alive obv! #:-S

Well done Alex... Or like Mr Bond would say, "keeping the Peaks end up"...

You just rode the ride suggested by Stu with all (as much) off roads as possible in 8.6mph with all the gear... Well done matey and making me think that a Peaks200 attempt might be appropriate traning for a BB200 afterall... :-bd

Man, you did some of those climbs incredibly quickly. Fair play.

It's always hard to tell. I rarely set my best times for things on the BB200 as I know that I need to leave some in reserve for those last few hours when I've got next to nothing left.

Resting obviously helps significantly!
