Just taken delivery of an alpkit boson.
The standing in the garden test and the beam looks great.
The only issue I have so far is that it comes with no loop to attach a lead so it does not drop off.
Has anyone bodged one?

Re: Securing an alpkit boson torch
presumably they have confidence in the mount[ i dont have one and never seen it]
velcro strap under the mount and loops over would do the job [ or use a fish block and then you can helmet or bar mount]

Re: Securing an alpkit boson torch
I had the same issue with an Exposure Joystick, the rear of the light had a small flange which through which I drilled a small hole and threaded a wrist lanyard. Not sure if the Boson has a similar design but the other suggestions seem to have misunderstood your question given the Boson comes with a bar mount.

Thx. Seen them but never knew the name.
Whilst dozing on the train I came up with the idea of two tie wraps and a cord leash.

Not that I'd condone using Planet-X, but hey.
