Cake time ---I have it on good authority - i.e. I met Sim the owner on yesterdays ride - that the Tarka Trail's Yarde Orchard cafe will be reopenning on the 6th April Its a good opportunity for mid flight refuelling between south and north Devon.

Excellent - if about 7 months too late for me.

Well, I'll just have to book another visit to the rather splendid Stowford Lodge, then arrange to drop in at Yarde Orchard every time I go for a bike ride.
