Teviothead to Craik?

Post by boxelder »

Is there a decent off road link from Teviothead through to Craik? Lots of dead end/nearly linked forest roads - sorry, gravel trails.

No direct route that I know of but on google satellite images between NT371063 and NT370066 the forest to the East of what looks to have been a fire break has been cleared so maybe 500m of carrying/pushing. I've not actually done it though.

Cheers Ray, Approaching from Wauchope way. The link you suggest is the best possibility I'd seen too. I'll just get off my lazy arse/keyboard and risk some adventure :o

Might be just as nice on the back roads via Stobs Castle way.

In that case I'd head to Newmill from Shankend and you can get across from there
