Loops? So yesterday.

I'll be getting a pair of 'Antler bars'. Just $72 + shipping ... that's like $1 per hand position.

I'm slightly bothered that someone's looked at those pictures and then used the words "makes sense"

Surely they'd call them 'Rudolph'?

I like them , and they have a dual use too. When a chavvy t^*t trys to get in your way to take your bike on a dark night you can just ride straight at them and gored them big time. That will stop em!
I have some antlers in my shed maybe I could make my own bars and they would be authentic too :-bd

The problem with bars like that is they always end up steering you in the direction of a rut...............

I wouldn't want to ride them in the French Alps in hunting season...
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

I need this for some of the paths round here, it'll get all of the dog walkers out of my way when I'm hoofing it!

Also doubles as a handy clothes line for those laundry times.

I reckon a steering wheel is the way forward - multiple hand positions at every possible angle, lots of space to bolt stuff too and hang bar rolls off, and (unlike those antler bars which look terribly unsafe to me) unlikely to end up sticking into your gut / femoral artery

All I can picture is an OTB with my torso simultaneously pierced on both sides and me trapped and bleeding out ...

Well it is cheery Friday :-bd
