Post by Ray Young »

As per the title. Any advice, hints of tips for taping my frame. My previous attempts have been ok but I think I could do better.

Properly clean it with IPA wipes

Get good quality tape

Use a hair dryer to warm the bike and tape

Cut tape with round corners

Take your time

Buy Titanium frame and stop caring

In terms of IPA wipes, would some bog roll and a bottle of BrewDog do?

It's ok, found it.

Previously I've used tape on a roll. This time it's not on a roll and got backing so I can cut it before revealing the sticky side, should make for a better job.

The tape I've bought from an ebay seller called convertape has always been good.
