Fatfighters 2019 Weigh-in Thread

Post by gairym »

Right then, who's feeling girthier than usual with the season of over consumption in full flow???

Thought I'd get the ball rolling so that we're up and running in time for the first weigh-in of the new year.

The first weigh-in will be on the 1st and then on/around every Friday from then on.

Nothing very different from the last two years in terms of the workings of this ere weight loss incentive thread.

Weekly weigh-ins and general supportive chat with periodic publications of a nice visual graph to show our collective progress.

The only slight alteration is that I'll ask that folks post their weight in both sensible metric and insanely archaic imperial measurements to make things easier on poor old me.

Ok, as you were, you can finish off that cold turkey sandwich now.....

But soon we go into battle!!!

I'm stuffing myself for another 6 days. That should give me some instant "progress" come 4th Jan.

I'll give this a go again. Kinda let it all through to the keeper around spring time this year. Haven't actually been on the scales for a few months but going on the fact that I had to punch an extra hole in my belt, I suspect the worst. Let's have at it then. Next week. Doing pancakes with bacon and maple syrup just now .....

I've been having cream on everything since BB200 in October so I'll be joining you on Fridays otherwise my chances of a reasonable ride at B150 will be shot.

I'm in!

I have always been big, but have put a serious amount of weight on the last 6 months with a knee injury and also having no bike for the last two months.

Hopefully this will give me the motivation needed to shift the excess weight!

I'm up for this. Being off the bike much of last year has resulted in my baggy clothing becoming not quite so. Time to act to save my general wardrobe

Much kudos on being first.

Despite the tamest New Year in history I still managed to exit the silly season with an extra helping of additional girth around my belly.

My first weigh-in of 2019.....

01-01-2019 - 115.7kg

Ooof, that stings! But not exactly a surprise all things considered.

More as a point of reference for the year

143lbs or 64.8 kilo

Wouldn’t mind getting to sub 140 or so just to make a round number
