Fatfighters 2019 - who's interested?

Post by gairym »

Good evening all,

If you'll have me I'm volunteering to herd next years fatfighting cats (in addition to hoping to perform better than the last two years myself).

So.....any chance of a loose show of hands to register interest in getting into fighting shape and dropping a few of those superfluous kgs in 2019.

Looking forward to moving forward.....

Cheers, Gairy.

Yes pls Gairy. I'm trying my best currently (well not 'best' but 'slightest') after the missus and kids, after my ride of Everest equivalent for the Syrian orphans, upon getting home everyone told me how I'd become fat!!

Lwt me know what I have to do mate...

My last weigh in will be Friday and I'm pretty certain I'll be up on the start of 2018... so yeah, will be watching my weight as always. If I ever stopped I'd be the size of a house.

I'd like to join in to see if it'll give me sufficient incentive.

I'm in for this for 2019. I didn't post in the 2018 thread at all, probably should've as I went from 220 lbs to 188 lbs in the second half of the year. Got another stone to go, maybe more. Let's see how we go!

I'll throw my name in the ring for next year, just taken a job 40 miles away so I'll be commuting by car rather than bike and desk bound for most of my day so I'll have to keep my ever expanding waistline in check!

Isn't that the perfect distance to commute by bike (rd bike off course). I normally use my shifts at York as my 40 mile commute and then train back (but if it was a 9-5 I'd defo use the opportunity to cycle back alot more at keast on final day of the wkrking week)

Definitely need to get my weight down and stop finding excuses so count me in as well.

Hopefully give me some motivation to get fit and stop being so lazy after work.
