Bamboo here this week.

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Morning, just received a email to say that the bamboo T shirts should be with me in the next couple of days. I shall do my very best to get them sorted, packaged and posted out asap, so hopefully they'll be with you by weekend at the latest.

Ta.

Seems a number happy for tee and jersey to come together and save postage. Might save you writing out another batch of labels

I'm beginning to have my doubts about waiting for the jerseys and gilets. I heard Mike Ashley was eyeing up this site....

Very kind everyone but it's actually cheaper to post each item individually ... a drive to Newtown this morning has resulted in me buying £200 worth of stamps. The smaller post offices don't hold the required amount and none of them would welcome me trying to put that many packages through their systems. Good job you no longer have to lick the things

4-5 calories in a stamp lick. I remember this from when I worked in Post Office Research and had to show dullards around our operation.

But how many calories expended in enacting said lick I wonder? Would it be a calorie-positive or calorie-negative meal? Of course there's always the envelope to lick as well I suppose for additional nutrients.

Goes off to check definition of a calorie now... sigh.... vaguely remember the business about the heat energy needed to raise the temperature of a gram of water by one degree C at at one atmosphere. Just got to map that to calorific content of stamp glue now.

I don't think I'll conduct any experiments though. Stamp glue's probably made out of something desperately unethical like baby rhino's horn or something. Dave will hopefully give me chapter and verse about it all .

We can pick it up at the winter event, not as if there's a rush
