Resurrecting a Sawyer Mini water filter

Post by Dyffers »

Had one of these for about 4 years, and need to use it again on a trip in a couple of weeks. The rub is it's been at least 2 years since it was last used.

It's been stored in my house, so always above freezing. Will it be as good as ever after a flush through, or will it have deteriorated with time and no use?

as it uses a mechanical method of filtering - ie an actual physical barrier- i cannot see how storage deteriorates it

I would imagine it is fine but i am no expert
