BB 200 - Lost and Found

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Lost - Pair of Specialized xc lite gloves. If they're yours let me know and I'll stick them in the post.

Found - About 20 gel wrappers out on course. If they were dropped by accident, fair enough ... if they weren't then I hope the 3g weight saving was well worth it

Sorry, I think I should own up to a gel wrapper - I counted them out and counted all but one back in. Definitely dropped by accident!
Apologies

If you find two full Torq ones, they're mine. Escapees from my jersey pocket
All other rubbish properly accounted for.

Maybe there should be some DQ's dished out.

This is almost as bad as the Armstrong affair.

Who came third or did they drop something too.

Can we have a DNA test on said wrappers please?

I binned the used packets in my pockets whenever I could (dam toilets/Pont- pub/YH) so I'm unable to say whether I lost anything on the trail. I sincerely tried not to, mostly using the zip pocket on the front of my jacket and leaving the heavy items in my back pockets.

I hear Michele Ferrari has a bit of time on his hands nowadays, maybe he could do the testing for you.

This is interesting on the use of non-banned substances, such as pain killers and caffeine tabs: http://www.velonation.com/News/ID/13076 ... sport.aspx

If there was any wrappers at the top of the rocky climb after the hostal I may be guilty (Accidentally I must stress). I had a saddle bag eruption up there in the dark looking for warm clothes. Otherwise, not guilty.
Thanks if you tidied up after me.
It any of mine were found there, there may be a black diamond headtorch with them :(

The only pace for Gel is ones hair... high and tight! - Now a Cornish pasty, that's a different story... i may have left some crumbs but I'm sure that Badger (High on Gel) Hoovered up.
