Anyone ever successfully replaced a nipple on a tubeless taped wheel without re-taping the wheel?
The spoke has broken inside the nipple so I can’t replace just the spoke, but wanted to try and move the tape (Gorilla) instead of unpeeling the whole rim. Or has anyone made a hole in the tape at the spoke hole and then patched over just that spoke hole?

Re: Nipples and tape
I suppose you could bodge it but just take the tape off. Gorilla tape leaves quite a bit of sticky residue, the easiest way to remove it is using the sticky side of another bit of Gorilla tape.

On some of my rims there are small holes set in the sides that don't get covered by the main wrap of tape so I've just used a short section to cover them and they work fine. You should be able to just cut a hole in the tape to change the nipple and then patch over it.

Hi, Yep I have done this but I was using the Schwalbe tape.
Not sure about gorilla tape, but I did go around quite far and I can't see why it should be any different.
Fun was getting the broken nipple out.
