I was just about to comment that it’s a nice looking site but afraid that may now be taken out of contextBearbonesnorm wrote:Bloody hell - I clicked on that and was confronted by a big picture of James, another click and even scarier ... a big pic of me

Why « Evanoui »?
Evanoui is a french word that has a double meaning. Literally, it means « to pass out », « to hit the wall ». But in a more poetic way, it is « to vanish », and more specifically « to fade into nature ».

I'm not really in any position to take the piss. I've managed to pile on 2 stone this winter and have done bugger all riding. I'll be out on the "get fit quick" singlespeed later.Bearbonesnorm wrote:No, that's 'Mr Nordy'.Is that you in the Bearbones shirt walking up the hill?

Not with you ... 'Mr Nordy' isn't code with something else. The chap in the BB jersey is actually Mr Nordqvist of this parish.I'm not really in any position to take the piss. Ha.. forgot about that, seems the site's been a while in the making, looks good (aside from pics of some of the riders! )

My brain read this as ennui, which is probably a metaphor for my brain towards the amount of digital bikepacking occurring.
Or rather, my lack of physical bikepacking of late.

Bob, I'm starting to realise that every possible expression I can conjure, no matter what emotion provokes it, it will always convey the message 'FFS'.
