Sleeping Bag
I'm looking for a new sleeping bag preferably down as it packs smaller, 3 season and under £150. Any recommendations? The Vango Venom 400 caught my eye as it's under 1 kg and goes down to 2 degrees. Anything else out there that's better than this? Cheers.

Re: Sleeping Bag
There's a few threads on here about sleeping bags (!)
Just outside your price zone and weight limit is the Alpkit Sky high 500 - https://www.alpkit.com/products/skyehigh-500
Just within it is the Alpkit Pipedream 200 (but depending on how warm you sleep might not be warm enough) https://www.alpkit.com/products/pipedream-200
It's worth looking at Criterion sleeping bags https://backcountry.scot/product/criter ... ht-series/. Criterion is the UK name for Cumulus http://sleepingbags-cumulus.eu/ A few on here have Cumulus quilts (another option) but for some reason they aren't sold in the UK.
If you are feeling flush then PHD are worth a look https://www.phdesigns.co.uk/down-sleeping-bags - most of us wait until they have one of their regular sales though!
Edit: I should say that my main bags are a Cumulus 150 quilt http://sleepingbags-cumulus.eu/uk/categ ... d=53&vid=7 and a PHD Minim 200, similar to this https://www.phdesigns.co.uk/minimus-down-sleeping-bag that I got in a sale. They are both "summer" rated but used together they are fine for year round UK use. (most of the time)

Re: Sleeping Bag
You'll probably find something better than the Venom for similar money, just takes a bit of searching. All below are quite different, so some may suit better than others.

Or as Bob mentions - a nice quilt. A 250 should see you down towards 0 and be lighter / pack smaller than owt else.
