Still 228 lbs , still working away, still bitching about work, happy I've managed to maintain my weight and not gained any as this last week has been pretty stressful. Another week of management induced bollocks to go then, what will be will be, work wise and I can concentrate on other things. Like finding a new job  Next goal is 16 st (again) ultimate is 14 (at present) :-bd
As PaulB2 has said also, the diet has made me think twice about what I snack on and also I've found healthy options, cooking from scratch (as opposed to heating up) plus serving size control has made a difference. I've been using Fitness Pal to track calories and nutrition too so that has helped.

I seem to have fallen off the healthy eating wagon lately.
Cant get motivated to exercise either although I'm hoping that I'll talk myself back round in the next few days.

Well we seem to pretty thin on the ground with just 4 of us posting last Friday :???:

Monday is always a traditional 'D' day, so feel free to start again and post on Friday :-bd

And if your Monday's already gone to pot, don't worry you just get back on track from right now  This very instant!

Even if you've a tub of Ben and Jerry's in your grubby mits right now, or half way through a nasty pasty, or looking forward to the trifecta of sarnie, crisps and choccy bar at lunch you can stop or make a better choice :-bd

OK, I'm feeling motivated just now. Managed a 1km walk with one stick this morning and I'm going to try the turbo in a little while. I may be less motivated after that

It was all going so very well. One and a half stones lost since the new year then I fell off the wagon and undid a lot of the hard work. A slow circuit of the Fred Whitton last weekend has since provided sufficient incentive to get me back on track.

Yeh, that would be an incentive for sure!

The first weigh in for a while is certainly an anxious moment (was for me) , but it'll hopefully set a new mark to drop from.

Just post a new weight when you can :-bd

17-08-18 - 112.5kg or 248lbs

Damn it!

Combination of hip injury caused lack of activity and the resulting comfort/emotional eating (and drinking) means I'm heading in the wrong direction yet again - boo!

Managed a nice ride last night (23km, 450m alt gain and stunning singletrack) but unfortunately followed it with 3 pints of (delicious) beer and succumbed further due to it being cheap ribs night at the micro brewery.

As my hip treatment improves things I'm looking forward to getting things moving in the right direction again.

Current pathetic goal is to simply end the year somewhere lower than the start. Second year in a row of static numbers. My momentary (ha!) blip of weighing 'a bit more than usual' is seeming more long-term than I'd like :???:

Quitting bread (pretty much for good now) was the thing that made the most difference to me I reckon.
