Exposure light mount on Jones bars

Someone must have mounted an Exposure light mount to the front bit of a jones loop bar.

What did you shim it with?

Homemade but still solid options would be good.

Piece of inner tube wrapped round 3 times makes a great shim.

Alternative is, exposure do a mount that attaches with zip ties

I don't think my Exposure mount even has inner tube on it,I think it's just the Exposure red bit of silicone on mine?

Bit if it didn't fit, then I would have used inner tube

It depends on the light. My Revo was shimmed with some gorilla tape when I lost the wee bit of plastic, but my Diablo uses the silicon mount which is great until you need the light to point in any direction other than perpendicular to the handlebar

Scrotes - You can get pills for that if it's a recurring problem. Don't be ashamed. Apparently it's quite common.

OP - black electrical tape. Don't over think, tape is your friend.

A combination of a bit of Inner Tube, and a few wraps of Black Nasty seem to do the trick.

Ah - perhaps I should have pointed out that the bike is currently hanging from its rear wheel.

i've used black tape, inner tubes and one of these - https://www.singletrackbikes.co.uk/m7b3 ... g_Bar_Shim all work. although the 2.50 for the shim is my favourite option.
