Any Malverns MTB specialists?

Post by redefined_cycles »

Please would you be kind enough to suggest and comment on my 100km route. Trying to ensure it's as much quality mtb as possible as well as getting to a certain platform/height where (apparently) 16 counties can be seen...

If I'm not mistaken, the Malverns has lots of non slippery mtb-ing that's suitable for winter riding too... Will update once route is checked, ridden and finalised. Any help in the meanwhile is greatly appreciated...

I have had a look at the route Shaf the tracks to the North were pretty horsed last time I rode them also they will be fairly unpleasant in wet conditions as the mud is clingy .The track on the other side of Raggedstone hill is much better than the one you have shown . The tracks to the southern end of the hills are sand based so fine though depending on the time of year you may need to chop your way through some bits . I might go and have a look at the northern end sometime soon I will report back if i do .
