to norfolk

Post by journeyman »

Hello! What do you think is the best way to Norfolk say from the Wiltshire area? Im assuming the ridgeway and chalke way? Im making plans for a family holiday getting the train from Devon to somewhere on the kennet and avon and then cycling to Martham boat yard near Acle in the Broads. Would like to get the coast and loop back to Martham Does anyone have Any good links to info or gpx online? Much appreciated if anyone can shed some light

I'm on my phone, will post more when I get home. You can pick up The Icknield Way after The Ridgeway, and it'll take you to Thetford.
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

you could do something along the lines of:
ridgeway
icknield way
boudicca way
marriotts way
bure valley path
then via ludham to martham

A whole lot of that route is off road

You may want to straighten boudicca way a bit and marriotts way and the bure valley path take you the long way round but if you have time they are worth a ride
