Debyshire / Peaks Off Road Routes.

Post by The Cumbrian »

Can anyone suggest any 20 - 30 mile mostly off road routes that aren't on tarmac cycle paths? I don't mind a bit of tarmac, but I've brought my mountain bike so would rather get out on the dirt. Not too far from Derby would be even better.

Cheers, Michael.

Peak is quite a long way from Derby.

I used to head up there from Derby all the time for climbing trips years ago, and I'm finishing work early today so that I can get there in time for a spin out.
My current default route is to go along the Pennine Bridleway from near Cromford as far as Parsley Hay and then back along the Tissington Trail.
