The Sabrina Way

Post by alwillis »

Looking for a way to link the Swindon/north wilts area with the bottom of the Pennine Bridleway. Has anyone used the Sabrina Way? I can only find reference to it for horses (it is afterall a bridleway), no mention of bikes or how rideable it is anywhere.

All suggestions appreciated!

There's certainly mention of both cyclists and walkers using it. Also mentions that cyclists are advised to use a mountain or hybrid type bike. I'd imagine that most of the surfaces would be sustainable rather than boggy field edges but that's only a guess and obviously, there will be some boggy field edges
