Indeed. SOL bags are for people who don't want to have to stop.

Now chuck that rain gear out and your ready for a proper ITT. :-bd

I totally forgot to take a photo of my bike setup. Here it is earlier in the month when I completed The Icknield Way double. I had less stuff in the saddle bag, no backup water bottle, otherwise it was looking pretty similar.

OK, here's my setup for tomorrow's BB300.

Image

Salsa Spearfish.

Saddle bag: bivvy gear
Frame bag: tools, spares, stove and fuel, evening food.
Top tube bag: food
Stem cells: food, camera, glasses.
Loop bar bag (hard to see): battery for light on bars, phone, cash.

Spare clothes (not many) will be in a camelbak along with a couple of litres of water.
Better weight than wisdom, a traveller cannot carry

Have a lovely ride Bob and everyone else. It's a lovely route and the rainbow even came out on last sitting...
