Like sh1t off a ...

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Here's today's dual use item.

Is it a trowel

Image

Or is it a guard for the downtube?

Image

It's on and off in a second or two, plenty secure enough as a mudguard and plenty strong enough as a trowel. It comes in at 70g but I reckon you could knock 20g off that but doing so would make it less viable as a guard and trowel

That's actually pretty neat

Add another hole and it'll have a third use as a ground anchor in soft conditions

That's the second of those I've seen  but the other can also be used as one of those wee saddle mudguards.

AFAIK you are not meant to poo on the trowel.

Frying a sausage on a poo trowel - what a good idea. Wonder how many burns of a meths stove you'd need. Can you do a teflon coated one Stu?

Uhm, non-stick poo trowel.

Well, it appears I now need to produce a poo trowel, mudguard, frying pan hybrid :-bd

Sigh. Poor Stu. Yet another perfectly sound and sensible thread sacrificed on the Altar Of Absurdity. This lockdown is getting to us  .

I've seen Madagascar so I believe I am an expert on simian behaviour. Monkeys throw their poo, usually to create a distraction. This is in fact the origin of the expression 'when the sub standard hits the fan' Thusly, no trowel will be required for Ralph

Knowing This Place as I now do, I can predict with some accuracy EXACTLY what is coming next on this thread.

If monkeys have fans, where do they plug them in?
