That was lovely. Heading that way in October and will have a bike with me too!

Hmpf! I was in that neck of the woods at the same time as you - visited some of the same places, but although we had the same weather, while it was good for you, it was rubbish for me. I was supposed to be sailing but the weather was calm and sunny. In the four weeks I was on the ship, we had just four days when there was enough wind and we were actually able to move under sail.

“It’s an ill wind that blows no one any good”. So true. :cry:

Don’t get me wrong, it was still a great trip, but the lack of wind has completely spoilt the memory.

Thanks for the write up, look forward to reading it in advance of a planned trip next year. Always good to get up to date reviews and recommendations
