Conditions were hard this year after all the rain so well done to all who entered. This year saw the removal of the Devils Beeftub bikehike and next year sees another bikehike section removed and the start/finish being moved to Moffat to break up the long gravel section and make it easier for people to get to as it's just off the A74(M) and a train station 17 miles away at Lockerbie.

Cheers Ray. The completist part of me is already thinking about next year, but the rational part if extremely satisfied with the experience I had. Interested to see which bikehike stuff you manage to cut out - would certainly be an improvement though.

Congrats to Dawn. That is some ride considering how the weather deteriorated yesterday. Unlike other rides I've done where I was continually meeting other riders, this one feels like a solo ITT. Even though there is a group start we get strung out on the route pretty quickly and rarely see anyone else. I think that makes it even more challenging.

Yes it was pretty awful here yesterday. Fair play to her for keeping going.
