BaM 2021 Emergency Rules. Normal service resumed.

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Emergency BaM rules have now ceased. Please revert back to normal procedure (I know you already have), so your own garden no longer counts and a bike must be included in your travels.

Thank you.

Thanks! Gives me the chance to try that old Scout dinning shelter out as a tarp in the back garden...

I was going to gift a piece of my back garden to a mate, bivvy in it after riding 50 laps of the front and back gardens, ride another 50 laps, sorted. Obviously can't get the legal niceities done until after its all over but a verbal contract is law (sort of) in Scotland so thats all fine!

We've got new neighbours (well they moved in just before Xmas), about time they started thinking we were weird  Actually our lawn is the only flat bit of ground surrounding the three houses!

Yessss. Legally allocated potter up the valley and back followed by a garden bivi. Perfect.

Time to get out the crappiest sleeping bag and leakiest bivi to finally be laid to rest by the claws of a thousand urban kitties.

Re-instated for our Welsh Wales brethren?

"Unlike back in March, there will be no limit to how many times you can leave the house to exercise or how far you can run, cycle, walk or jog, or to where - as local lockdown boundaries have now ended.

But exercising with others, such as running and cycling clubs, will not be allowed, and you should start your exercise from home.

People are being asked not to drive anywhere to do sport as exercise, unless they have specific health reasons, and people are banned from driving "significant distances" to get to mountains, beaches and beauty spots"
