I know it could be a bit difficult thing to keep tabs of. But after having spent the last hour remaking my route to work to avoid flooded roads (dont fancy walking through flooding un to my hips before work) as well as missing the rubbish A64 cycle lane (its a recipe for disaster as you need to cross the 'filter*' roads coming off the A64 every couple o miles.
Anyway, I found this
https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map
which has an interactive mapping icon which seems to cover alot more than just good old North Yorkshire. Hope it helps someone save their car or selves from flooding.
Feel free to add any areas that you might know need avoiding (I'm planning a ride to London in a few weeks so any input here might just come in handy as I know the areas a few tens of miles before Aylesbury seem to be easily affected by heavy rainfalls) or indeed any interactive maps to help plan cycle/car routes...
Ta v much and hope it helps someone/anyone save themselves/cars/bikes
