Oliver Turnbull is back in Peebles with an approximate finish time of 3 days and 10 minutes, just short of a 3 day finish. More specific details later when he's recovered a bit.

Brian Nichols now finished crossing the line at 18.05. Another great ride.

Good stuff - I suspect the change in the weather was a good motivator for people to crack on

I started and got as far as Newcastleton before scratching. On day two I seemed to have no energy with each successive climb getting harder and myself more despondent. I'd been eating regularly but looking back I think I should have had a proper meal at one of the bars in Newcastleton. I think my perspective would have been different if I'd done that. I continue to learn but it's a long process.
