I doubt any will be, they'll just put new turbines on the site and forget about the concrete base they are supposed to remove from the old turbines

As for noise, some on the 2022 BB200 route were really loud

Sugru is what you need

On the handles and where you drink so you don't burn your lip, fold the handles out when cooking

Re: 2.5kg too heavy for bar harness ?

i have quite a tidy set up bag wise, but my harness when packed weighs 2.5kg. I had a setup that must have been a similar weight with bag, tent, first aid kit, paramo jacket and puffer on the winter event, fine when riding, clumbersome getting through the myriad of gates my badly chosen route took....

Re: Lightweight touring rack | Tailfin? Other alternatives?

I have the aeroe pannier rack, it's great, works well on my mtb's and transfers with not too much faff, seems bullet proof

It is however hefty, and not and instant switch over, not sure whether i would be happy fitting on a lightweight carbon frame

Farming subsidies, this type of grassland is important for ground nesting birds and if unimproved probab...

That's a Lifeventure thermal mug in an old bottle that's cut down. It's such a good fit in the bottle I had to drill a hole in the bottom the let the air out otherwise it wouldn't push down to the bottom. Fits in the bottle cage perfectly and much cheaper than the dedicated bike thermos. I paid und...

Re: A wee whisky appreciation thread.

Have always thought they should be sold with the production year on them (like wine) as opposed to the age. I thought they mixed the barrels from different years to get a consistent taste, age being the minimum age? A lot of the "specials" are failed/trial batches that didn't quite work a...

Re: Orange MTB Bikes going into administration

It would be nice to think someone steps in to take them on but there is a pattern emerging here
There is a pattern of cycle industry companies being sold by their founders and then going into administration

Remember, the GR aren't as important and what you put between them
The one that is in the middle of a isolated byway is an interesting one, obviously some local knowledge or the traditional "lost ways" get some mountain bikers daft enough to go anywhere to ride it
