Re: Travelling across Europe quickly - how?
A ferry is more polluting than an aircraft isn’t it? Recently read an article by Cunard saying that You have to question why organisers ban aircraft for their races but not ferries/ships to get to the races Looks like Eurostar is the best bet https://www.eurostar.com/uk-en/travel-info/travel-plannin...

, the 10 commandments are for Jews and not something the Christian faith really refers to All the abrhamic/ibrahimic faiths have them and they are absolutely central to christianity* but less so to Muslims.(shaf will.correct here if i am wrong but they believe they were given( and the message corru...

I had to google it so I won’t spoil the answers. Was surprised to see Gabriel being mentioned though (which shows my ignorance) as always associated him with the Nativity story. As a side note, (from my knowledge), the 10 commandments are for Jews and not something the Christian faith really refers to

Re: Feats of endurance (hardest geezer content)
Just discussed with a friend if this one was a form of nihilism: Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race I’m not familiar with that term but a quick google search would suggest maybe yes in that he’s done something that seems (almost) impossible (or I bet he had a lot of naysayers from the off). Anyways,...

Speaking of events, Cheshire Wildlife trust have released dates for their beaver nights. Think it goes to members first but after that, they go out to the public.
Wednesday evenings during May at Delamere Forest. Just keep checking their web pages over the next week or so for general release

Re: Aeroe rear rack thoughts
Its clearly.a bad idea to inflict clamping forces on a carbon tube Carbon steerer tubes? Don't get me wrong, the design does raise eyebrows. In my head, a manufacturer has designed that forked or spaced it to the forces required (here’s hoping) whilst a lot of manufacturers I’m guessing has not des...

My dad dropped off a copy of North Wales Pilgrim Way (as seen on TV), wanted to do a pilgrim for a long time and didn’t realise I had one on my doorstep
Think my dad is keen to do as day walks, so we’ll see as I’d prefer to do it in one go (or maybe two depending on time)

Thanks Ben, will look up the Polartec fabric and the 100wt. How many ... just one! : ) I'm not too worried about pack size as I generally have fairly small packed bags and can afford a bit more space, was interested to hear if there's a brand/material that does better than an average fleece on the ...

Might be worth sorucing a trek marlin frame in xs (this fits 650b as the other sizes are 29er).
Decent frames, should be plenty of them knocking about as they’re popular. Can also take a normal rear rack so that may be helpful to carry stuff in a longer ride
