Revelate sweetroll, alpamayo top tube bag.

Sweetroll, pretty sure it’s the medium size. Well used but in good condition. Pre welded seams. Includes an unused manta flap, £50 posted. Alpamayo top tube bag. Black. Used a couple of times but flares too wide at the front for my liking. £25 posted or swap for a revelate mag tank. Pics by PM or wh...

I’m not against the idea of a supported ride but I don’t really see the point in carrying your own sleeping kit.

I’d be interested in a copy of the route with the singletrack variants in please. Looking at doing it in the summer with some mates.

looks pretty realistic to me. I prefer it to the HDR superboost max (TM) filters that get applied to a lot of stuff.

Sweaty bastard here too. Best thing I’ve done is ditch merino, it gets wet, stays wet and then gets cold.

Patagonia capeline baselayers all the way for me now.

Re: Tubeless puncture repair

The weldite ones I have seem to last ok. 15mm cut might be on the limit of what they would seal though. I’ve jammed three in a hole to hold enough air to get home before.

no, but I've ridden the west shore. 90% rideable with a km or two of bog hopping at the end before reaching the road.

Re: (A bit of ) the Southern Way

I’ve ridden Tavistock to totnes a few times. I actually prefer going over the top via princetown as it’s one big long slog of a climb and then mostly downhill to totnes. If you go around the edge of the moors you seem to be constantly climbing in and out of valleys.
