Re: Cambrian Eagle Mystery Solved
This very topic was discussed on Radio 2 today at 1.30 pm, very sad but no mention of any poisoning or foul play but maybe that`s R2 policy if facts are unknown?

These tee shirts proved popular on last years Tour Divide, some cheap `civvy` clothes for the racers who scratched!

Alongside the new jerseys we also have a new T shirt and before someone starts banging on about elitism, just remember that anyone with a sense of humour will be able to buy one  https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tMJ1g8prZr0/XrwuJ6hrIBI/AAAAAAAAHqI/qdjieb4lAuYfc6I0lSvofwNSz6YLWGWPACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/w...

Just trying to think of ANY occasion that I thought that an overnight bivvy was a risk to myself or anyone else??
If I was to go to Dartmoor in winter then maybe but a Dorset field in May, apart from being run over by a tractor silageing at 5am I should be OK!

Re: Are Carbon bars worth the ££?
I`ve never tried Ti bars I would imagine they are very nice, I see Thompson ones are reasonable pricewise, not sure if Jones still sell Ti loops but last time I looked they made Carbon look a bargain!
Could be worth looking into.

Re: Are Carbon bars worth the ££?
I work as a lead engineer in NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) for a fairly well known car manufacturer, I'm really tempted to take an objective measure of carbon versus ally handle bars for curiositys sake. Vibration comfort is basically my day job! Any particular bars people are interested in?...

Re: Are Carbon bars worth the ££?
As a curve ball, when Spank launched their vibrocore range, a friend of mine tried mimicking the concept by spraying expanding foam into his bars. He reckoned it worked a treat. Sample size =1, YMMV etc., but could be a cheap experiment to improve your comfort? A great idea, and if it doesn`t "...

Re: Are Carbon bars worth the ££?
Thanks for the replies, it would seem that Carbon (on the whole) is worth it, I assume the same would apply to drop bars as well as flat?

Re: Are Carbon bars worth the ££?
Ive had a set of EC70 risers for a couple of years, as well as some EA70s. They are exactly the same width, shape and rise and the carbon bars win hands down. Far lighter, for sure, but they are far more comfortable. A couple of hours of bridle paths and what not on board with the aluminium bars an...

Are Carbon bars worth the ££?
Aside from saving weight is there any noticeable difference between `bars in aluminium compared with the same in carbon?
