Arbor Coffee & Chocolate Oatmeal Breakfast stout, 7.4%, pint can thereof. Bought ages ago, mainly because a WHOLE PINT in a can... perfectly normal in the pub, but somehow seems rather decadent at home https://i.ibb.co/QYJhjfy/IMG-20230309-WA0007.jpg https://i.ibb.co/cFt5QCb/IMG-20230309-WA0009...

Re: WTD: Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL

I made my own using a schnozzle link that I bought, simply attached to a dry bag that I had.

Re: Cambrian Mountains Society

Perhaps a timely reminder for anyone interested in supporting the protection of a very special part of Wales. Must be worth £15 a year, and a good magazine too. The Dylife edition was a cracker https://www.cambrian-mountains.co.uk/ And at the other end of the spectrum, this seems vaguely interestin...

Re: Trail Recipe of the Day

That - I like cup recipes as you can use anything at all as its just about ratios and they remain the same [ though i do have some actual "proper" measuring cups] I agree, fine if it is all cups but sometimes American recipes use "sticks of butter", or include fluid Oz's as well...

Re: Trail Recipe of the Day

Well, I got round to making some of the OPs recipe, yesterday... Used cashews, because I had some, and raisins, because I like a bit of fruit in my flapjacks. Almost killed my food processor, but added a bit more water just in time to loosen it up sufficiently. The texture is surprisingly rubbery -...

Re: Bivvy a month 2023.

Thanks for adding me in last minute. Yes, a strange one. When the prize bingo was on a Friday night the place was rammed, hushed silence when calling, tables down the skittle alley etc, big family groups kids and grandma with their mark up pens stored behind the bar week on week. Can't believe it is...

Re: Bivvy a month 2023.

Did this a couple of weeks ago - please add me into January ! Annual trip to the Somerset Levels to see the starling murmuration. All on road road so easiest just to throw junk into the panniers on my commuter and roll. Good news ! Some Severn Beach line trains now continue to Weston Super Mare - so...

If it is cone adjustment I made the tool in this article that is really good. It lets you tension the axle and adjust the cone at the same time

BWB

The Bristol Winter Bivvy had a low turn out - just me. I had hoped to join the SWWB - but an unscheduled event the previous weekend threw plans for the 3 days away with Verena's crew, so a quick overnight local trip cycling from my doorstep in Bristol took its place. On a clear and sunny Friday afte...
