Well...bought on now. Garmin Dakota 20 with full 1:50 GB os maps +4gb sd card ...just wait for postman now..

Boxelder - unfortunately never made Gravel rocks, work commitments...had to pull out.

That's why I'm thinking front shock..I did the YTG 60 miler on a carbon planet x cx bike , my arms were a bit stiff when finished so hence sus...the lauf forks look cool in my opinion but too pricey for me

front shocks on a cx bike
Toying with an idea of putting short travel shocks onto my my cx bike for bumpier longer rides ( not races) anyone tried this ? ..dont want to buy another bike (yet) just thinking of switching out forks when needed..

A number of phones have a 'find my phone' function or app that a 'loved one' could sign into to see where you are. The issue is you'd need your phone not to be in airplane mode and probably with data on, so not so good if battery life is an issue. That was my problem on Sunday...did the True Grit r...

Have just recently bought a Twonav Anima. It's a small beast.... I was initially reluctant to move out of Garmin but I'm glad I did, still learning how to use all the options though. It accepts almost any kind of map, it's great to build your own custom maps with Mobac, then put them in the Anima a...

Wow..what a day in the saddle..60 miles over north Yorkshire moors in wind , rain ,fog and mud,,,,lots of gritty mud..managed it in 7hrs 57mins after 1 pinch flat, 1 dodgy valve, 2 stops to adjust brakes as grit eating them alive...lol. Really enjoyed it once I finished,not so much doing it.....note...

Thanks guys....a bloke at work uses Garmin 1000 and did lejog using it , he loves it but others don't. I'm upgrading my old p.a.y.g phone aswell , any ideas on a gps function on a smartphone .
