Re: Them panniers

I am liking the look of those, I have actually been admiring them on your bike for some time now, I would love a set of the back of my Wednesday, ideal for warm gear and brewkit on my beach rides, better order a Surly rack in.

I just popped a Wolf Tooth oval on my Bridgeclub, I notice it when climbing, I cant put my finger on it but there is a slight improvement.

I am currently waiting for my ET's in 27.5x2.5 for my Bridgeclub to arrive, I did look at the Marathon Allmotion but in both wheel sizes it is only available in a 2.15, Vittoria do the Mezcal in a 2.6?

I have been medicated for blood pressure since 20011, for some reason my pressure is prone to spiking, this past three years I have hardly touched the bike and my weight and fitness has gone to sub standard, but I know about it, daily monitoring and I am now allowed to ride again and sleep out alone...

Any National Park or AOB is going to be rammed, motorhomes and caravan making it impossible to move, the UK is going to look like the arse end of an illegal rave I suspect, I hope I am wrong.

A single can of soup for lunch  How big is the can?! I'm generally on 500-600 breakfast, 700-800 lunch and the rest at tea. Maybe a tin of irish stew or something might do me, but not a normal tin if soup. Well done by the way. :-bd I'll maybe give it a try! I am keeping to about 1800 ...

Inversely, as with right now, I feel I'm in a slump (of my own making) which means I feel low on energy, which makes me more likely to cheat, which makes me feel bad, which makes me comfort eat/drink etc... All very interesting though..... Given a few changes in work I am impressed I am starting to...

Re: Sonder Frontier - anyone had/got one?

Sounds like only good things to say about it, particularly at the price and with the 148TA not causing any obselecence issues like the older 141QR. Thanks all. Edit: just saw your post as I posted mine @Loki, if it's the one in your ad on the classifieds then unfortunately I'd be after a Large. Tha...

Re: Sonder Frontier - anyone had/got one?

I have a V2 Frontier and it is actually up for sale at the moment, I really like the bike, rides well, quite light and feels good even with a bike packing load on board, the only reason I am selling it is because, I wanted to get a fat bike.

I am hoping to do a trip to France this July to watch the start of the TCR, looking at the immunisation progress I am not sure it is happening yet, plus I am still getting my phat arse in order.

A bit late in the posting as I have been dealing with family stuff, I managed to get out and play on the beach with my new Surly, thankfully little or no wind but there were a lot of walkers out and about, stopped to make a brew at half way, as is my way. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50821362...

Re: Taking a knife to a gunfight.

I have been through the gravel bike phase, was fun, I never really identified with it, I did enjoy "underbiking" doing things on my old Croix de Fer that it certainly was not really intended, I even did a couple of laps of Newnham Park on the 24/12 course a few years ago, while a challenge...
